Tahini Rotini with Broccoli and Lemon

I was expecting to like this since it contains three things I love: broccoli, pasta, and hummus. The recipe called for the broccoli
to be boiled for 5 minutes and that made it a little mushy. Once it was lightly tossed with the sauce and pasta, the broccoli fell apart. The sauce, which consists of the tahini, chickpeas, vegetable stock, lemon and soy sauce, made everything pasty.

Ingredients: tahini, canned chickpeas, rotini pasta, broccoli, sesame seeds, garlic, lemon, soy sauce (or tamari), cayenne, vegetable stock.
