Moroccan Chickpeas with Tomatoes and Spinach

This recipe is from the cookbook Quick-Fix Vegan by Robin Robertson.

Tasty, healthy, and very quick to prepare. The recipe looks a little intimidating because of
the long list of ingredients, but most of that is the spice blend. I am very intrigued by these bean dishes that use cinnamon and allspice. I am used to those things in baked goods like muffins and cookies. They give this recipe a very exotic taste.

Ingredients: chickpeas, canned diced tomatoes, baby spinach, onion, red bell pepper, garlic, olive oil, Moroccan spice blend (coriander, ground ginger, ground allspice, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, ground turmeric, cayenne, ground nutmeg), salt, black pepper.
