Mushroom Marinara

This recipe is from the vegan cookbook Appetite for Reduction by Isa Chandra Moskowitz.

I've made this twice and it came out this same way both times, so I guess it is right. The sauce
isn't saucy, it is kind of pasty. The recipe calls for a pound of mushrooms to be added to 24 ounces of crushed tomatoes. Well, here it is.

Ingredients: olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, crushed tomatoes, pepper, and cremini mushrooms.
