If you are looking for a recipe that makes turnips taste like candy, then this is it.
Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but this recipe is very delicious. The turnips, parsnips, carrots, rutabaga and shallots are coated in a little maple syrup and salt and then roasted in the oven until they are caramelized and chewy. This makes a great side dish, and is easy to prepare. Just peeling and cutting.
